Part 1 - Since we moved to my husband’s boyhood home in the country, I’ve struggled to come to grips with my new life as a tenant farmer's wife.

It’s not that I didn’t know what Taylor wanted to do with his life, I just didn’t expect it to happen so soon after we got married.

I love my husband more than anything, but life in the Iowa cornfields is anything but stimulating.

So when Desmond, our new landlord, shows up unexpectedly to claim his inheritance, Taylor and I are surprised by more than his existence.

Not to mention what he does to my self-concept, to our relationship, and to our lives.

Part 2 - Since Desmond came into our lives, everything is so different.

My husband, Taylor, has realized a dream he’d kept from me our whole marriage.

I realized a dream I never knew I had.

A dream I didn’t even know existed.

And I found a path I didn’t know was there.

A path that leads to a place I can’t even imagine.

Part 3 - Desmond has changed my husband and me forever, but it’s not enough. Now, incredibly, he wants to take things a step further. More than a step, truth be told. A great deal more.

I’m not sure what my husband Taylor wants.

I’m not even sure what I want.

But I don’t want to say no.

Not without trying out this new life first.
