Mowgli, a little man-cub, wanders into the lair of Father Wolf and Mother Wolf, who bring him up as one of their own. As he grow he makes friends, but he is always aware that Shere Khan, the tiger who killed his parents, is his enemy.
The jungle is not an easy place to be a man-cub. He must learn its secrets from Baloo the bear, Bagheera the black panther and Kaa the python. But their lessons cannot protect Mowgli from every danger - will he escape from the Monkey-people when they kidnap him? And can he get the better of the evil tiger, Shere Khan?
