このコンテンツについて
We are about to take a journey into the rewarding and challenging world of the Enneagram. Those with prior knowledge of the Enneagram will instantly notice the fresh approach taken in this book. With a new vantage point comes new information and application.
We will examine basic concepts of psychology with a focus on those ideas of Carl Jung, whose teachings greatly influenced the founders of the Enneagram of today. We will also learn to identify personality types in order to quickly classify basic traits, strengths, and weaknesses. We will look at the hopes, fears, and motives of the personality types as revealed in Enneagram, with a starting point and reference in the ancient pool of knowledge that informed the Enneagram, Pythagorean philosophy, and many writings of the Middle East. We will understand how the personality operates and malfunctions. We will see how each type relates to the MBTI. We will find the primary and basic motive driving individuals of each type. Motives and drives are the guiding angel and stalking demon of every individual. Each of us has a major strength, and if not balanced and controlled, this same power will cause our downfall. It is in the Enneagram that we discover how to understand, help, and heal others and ourselves.
