What I liked about this book was that it covered a lot of different aspects of anger – what it is, the biology of it, and how it can be both negative and positive. I especially resonated with the first chapter, and felt called out by most of Albert Ellis’ “irrational beliefs,” so I figured this is something I should look into if I want to explore this topic further.

One thing I HATED about this book is that half way through, the narrator (who is also the author) tries to guilt trip you into writing a review, “so you can help others, too.” I guess some people don’t listen until the end so he felt it was better positioned then, but it felt forced and unnecessary. Between that and the fact that he calls exercise “The Dreaded E Word” and spends a good portion of the last chapter explaining a few exercise to try (to reduce anger? I don’t even remember), I most likely won’t personally vibe with this author lol.
