このコンテンツについて
The information in this handbook is intended to assist children who are caring for their senior-aged parents and to provide you with some information that may hopefully be useful to you not only in caring for them but how to handle transitional situations that you may face. At some point in our lives we may be put in the position of taking care of a loved one. Unfortunately, many of us don't give much thought to end of life situations; therefore, we fail to plan. Death is inevitable and we will all die. However, preparing for the transition of your ailing loved one is always a bitter pill to swallow. You will soon begin to see that while you are preparing for your loved one's end of life, you may also be assisting your family in preparing for your transition as well. It starts to become a never-ending cycle and a way of leaving a legacy (so to speak) for your future generations in making it easier for your family to handle end of life affairs in order to continue moving forward with their lives after death. This whole experience may prove to be the stepping stone for teaching future generations that planning is the key. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone; however, failure to plan for it can be a detriment for those who may be left behind.
