Merchant traders, like Bishop, spend their days scouring the system in search of resources, all while dodging pirates, aliens, and sometimes, the law. But when he uncovers a secret worth killing for, his life is turned upside down.
Bishop’s resourcefulness and ingenuity make him a threat - and the perfect scapegoat. He’s labeled a terrorist for crimes he did not commit and exiled from his home on the colony ship. Torn between searching for clues and making repairs, Bishop takes a chance and recruits allies, while the colonial fleet hunts for his base of operations.
Repairing the colony ship is his only hope of escape, but Bishop discovers he is up against more than just pirates. The government itself has a stake in current events, forcing Bishop to take on the military, as well as the impending alien threat.
