あらすじ・解説
Rejoining the private eye business after taking a step back to be a mother, Jane Monterrey finds herself thrust into a complicated mix of cases. Timothy Dawson, suspected of having affair, is arrested by the FBI during her stakeout. Suspicion brews as the wife gets angry about Jane’s results. While sorting that out, a case involving a beer recipe comes to the door. Soon Jane is following a scavenger hunt of clues with a reporter tagging along, avoiding a shady lawyer intent upon finding the same brew. Add to the mix a missing goat, and Jane definitely has a full plate.
Fans of the Jane Monterrey series will rejoice with this sixth novel, while new listeners can start at this and work their way through the backlog. The whole cast of characters return in this epic book as suspicion rises, and new threats arise.
