A past love interest, Billy, who may have been involved, accosted PerryAnn, forcing her to make hard choices.
And in 1996, alone on a cliff, he continued to push PerryAnn to the brink of desperation. In 2003, painted moment, MatiLou grapples with her feelings for her husband Bobby and the price she pays to be with him, abandoning her true self and what she knows she was born to do. She struggles with wounds from bullying, injustice, and fear of losing those she loves.
