このコンテンツについて
Lack of self-confidence and problems with unhealthy self-esteem are usually the reason why smart, competent and talented people never achieve a satisfying life, a life that should easily be possible for them.
Think about your childhood.
At the age of four or five, there weren't too many things that you considered impossible, right?
You weren't bothered or held back by any kind of criticism; you stayed indifferent to what other people thought of you. An ugly stain on your sweater, or even worse, on your leggings, was not considered a problem or an obstacle.
You could run on a crowded beach absolutely nude, laughing, go swimming in a city fountain and then play in the sandbox with strawberry ice cream smeared in your hair. Nothing and no one could stop you from saying what you wanted to say, even the silliest things. There was no shame in your early childhood; you loved yourself and everyone else.
Can you remember it?
What happened to us?
Parents, teachers, preachers and media stuffed certain beliefs into your head, day after day for many years. These beliefs and attitudes robbed you of your natural, inborn confidence.
Maybe it was one traumatic experience of some kind that changed you, or maybe it was a slow process that lasted for years. One thing is certain - lacking confidence is not your natural, default state. It brings you down and now you have to unlearn it.
Can you name even a single situation in life where high confidence isn't useful?
Confidence is not useful only in everyday life and casual situations. Do you really want to fulfill your dreams, or do you just want to keep chatting about them with your friends, until one day you wake up as a grumpy, old, frustrated person?
Big achievements require brave and fearless actions. If you want to act bravely, you need to be confident.
Along with lots of useful, practical exercises, this book will provide you with plenty of new information that will help you understand what confidence problems really come down to. And this is the most important and the saddest part, because most people do not truly recognize the root problem, and that’s why they get poor results.
