A secret source within the US government has retained the services of Duke's crew, the Syndicate, to track down the origin of the coronavirus, but as their mission unfolds, they find that the coronavirus isn't the greatest threat to world - coronacyde is.
As the Syndicate travel the world aboard the Charaka, an extremely technologically advanced ocean-going vessel disguised as a well-kept cargo ship, they seem to always be one step behind the nefarious individuals responsible for conniving the greatest scheme of genocide ever devised in the history of mankind.
