We have all probably heard the word “affirmations” at least once, and now we are at the stage of trying it. Perhaps you are here because you need a push in life, or maybe you have been going through a rough patch, and there is no one around to uplift you, so you have to do it yourself. Or I could be wrong, and you are just seeking a little self-motivation.

It doesn't matter what your motive is; we are all here for one reason: self-motivation. Affirmations are one way through which we can attain self-motivation. These words, images, or attitudes may subtly but powerfully transform your self-talk from negative to positive, thus changing your mindset. You will be able to alleviate anxiety by feeling more in command if you learn to view your life in terms of opportunities rather than constraints, what is possible rather than what you think is impossible, and if you begin to focus primarily on remedies rather than obstacles.

Look at it this way: Your self-talk is a form of shaping your beliefs. You learn to live more consistently by these beliefs as you examine your life and your decisions. Of course, affirmations are fundamentally personal, so my statements will probably differ from yours. The key is to know what works for you, and most importantly, know what you want to get from your affirmations. If you have no goal, you have no motivation. Hence, take a second to decide what your real goal is. Once you have decided, you are ready for this audiobook.

The truth is, we have all used affirmations before. Even if it is as simple as saying, “I will finish this assignment before midnight,” you confirm that you believe in yourself to do something.
