About the author

Michael McTeigue is a certified crisis-intervention and suicide-prevention hotline counselor. He battled chronic depression for several years. While striving to recover, Michael tried meds and talk therapy, attended workshops, and read countless books on mental health, personal development, and spiritual growth. He finally banished his depression and, in the process, he developed and refined the Seven Life Hacks. Michael is confident these hacks will help lighten the load for each person who tries them. Michael graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Psychology from UCLA and an MBA from Stanford, and he has written four books. He is married with two daughters and resides in Northern California.
