This is the first of a series of books that explores the imagination of Harry Mogul. Harry is an eclectic kid and a good student with mohawk hair and an absolute obsession with soccer and being an IG influencer. He’s a constant daydreamer who gets in trouble for not paying attention. He often dreams of flashing cameras and the lifestyle of a soccer shoe designer. It would be only a matter of time before his dreams would become reality.

But school is constantly getting in the way. A “necessary hassle” in his opinion. It’s a new school year, and Harry and his best friend Lance are excited about their new teacher Ms Bennett. They even have their seats picked out already.

While at the welcome back students assembly Harry sees a strange boy outside the window making peculiar gestures. He doesn’t know that this kid would change his life and perspective forever.

So Dad’s a Toaster is a journey of one kid’s introduction in to the world of autism. There are moments of misunderstanding, conflicts, resolution, and finally explanation. Harry will come to understand later that we are all wired differently and that’s okay. It’s just one of many lessons that Harry will learn on his journey to being a soccer IG influencer.
