あらすじ・解説
Commonly, people think of the GED as the Graduate Equivalency Degree or General Educational Diploma. While both are technically accurate, the GED traditionally has stood for General Educational Development Test. This acronym was originally for the Tests of General Educational Development, but the term GED has just been used since 2011.
Once you complete high school, you receive a diploma. This document states that you’ve completed all the required courses needed to graduate high school.
The GED is an important part of the educational pathway in the United States. It can be an alternative to obtaining a high school diploma, and offers multiple benefits to those choosing to take the GED test. However, it isn’t a simple matter of taking a test filled with high school level questions.
In the first book of my two book series, we are first going to explain what the GED is and how it compares to a high school diploma. Then, we’ll look at the process for getting your GED. We’ll briefly look at what you can do with your GED once you get it. The bulk of this book is going to be focused on preparing you to take the GED. You’ll find a state-by-state guide on how to pass the GED.
