あらすじ・解説
Bible Belt religious leaders suffered a surprising political hit in Mississippi this week. A strange referendum called the Personhood Amendment was defeated by the voters, and phew! says Susie. This group was advocating that life begins at fertilization, or with the twinkle of an eye, and they wanted to demolish current abortion-rights laws. So for now, birth control is safe - but the Personhood initiative is not going away. Susie spells out just what happened and who the big players are in this wacky group.
Then, in our "Try This at Home" mailbag, Susie gets a letter from a listener who has an interesting request. She's recording the audio (only) from porn movies for visually impaired people and wonders what movies she should include as classic not-to-be-missed films. Susie has a couple of intriguing ideas that are sure to please.
