このコンテンツについて

Serge Kahili King, PhD, is the author of many works on Huna and Hawaiian shamanism, including Mastering Your Hidden Self, Changing Reality, and Happy Me, Happy You. At the age of 14 , King was initiated into the path of Hawaiian shamanism. At 18, he was adopted as the grandson of Joseph Kahili of Kauai, a "kupua" or shaman of the Hawaiian tradition. In addition to his years of training with the Kahili family, Dr. King spent seven years in West Africa being trained in African shamanic traditions. Today he teaches people how to use shamanic healing techniques and uses his knowledge to help others discover their own creative power.

From the book: You may be asking yourself by now, “What is this word Huna, and what is a kahuna?” Huna is a Hawaiian word meaning “that which is hidden, or not obvious.” Sometimes we call it the Hidden Knowledge or the Secret Reality. The idea is not that anyone purposely hid it away, but only that it is usually hard to see. The term kahuna can be translated as “a transmitter of the secret,” and it was originally intended to be used for those who belonged to an order that practiced and taught the knowledge. In Kahuna Healing, Dr. Serge King shares the history of the Hawaiian Kahunas, an in-depth description of the mind-body connection, and the healing methods used to improve the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of human life.
