このコンテンツについて
I realized, at age 70, that I had no memory of being inside my home, where I grew up, or ever being inside a school classroom. I began to write then, and have continued over the last 24 years, as one painful memory after another was slowly revealed. Recently I figured out what had happened to my mother, and therefore to me. Two more major insights totally freed me. I could then finish Missing Pieces.
I was occasionally tempted to quit over all those years. But I kept going because I wanted to get the Little Buddy Program into schools to help "kids at risk". The pandemic has made it so much more difficult for them! That program is unique because it costs nothing, administration is minimal, and it’s highly effective. I also wanted to share my story with those who have been affected by abuse and/or a learning disability, hoping it will be a healing experience for them.
This book is good for the learning disabled, those who have been abused, educators, parents, therapists, and college students. This is a companion book to Blending and Re-Blending.
