あらすじ・解説
If you want to Mitigate Migraines and live a pain-free life then you need to keep reading…
Migraines are literally a pain!
My first migraine hit me in high school, and I was unsure what to do. I have a pretty high pain tolerance from being picked on, beat up, and the everyday of having older siblings. I can put up with bumps, bruises, and scrapes, but one day when I got home from school a migraine hit me like a spike in my brain. I had bright lights in my field of view which I found out about later was called an “aura” then I started to see stars. Then the PAIN HIT!
All I can do was close my eyes and huddle down on the carpet on my bedroom floor. I think I passed out because later my mom was waking me up in time for dinner. I would call this my first major migraine.
I never said anything about it to anyone. The next few years I would have headaches that over-the-counter pain relievers could fix and minor migraines where I could take a nap and I was right as rain. Then my second major migraine hit in college.
I was taking a full load of courses ranging from biochemistry, physics, chemical engineering, and public speaking when I had this searing pain above my eye. I remember being in the hallway of my dorm leaning against the wall to brace myself and closing my eyes begging for the pain to stop. With my arms stretched out like Frankenstein trying to feel the door frames of the numerous dorm room to find mine. I had to trace my steps back based on the number of doors down the hall. I was room 913 across the stairwell. It is funny how your brain will remember vivid episodes of extreme emotion and pain.
By then I decided to change my degree to Neurobiology and continue Biochemistry and figure out what the heck is going on!
Hence, I wrote this book to Mitigate Your Migraines.
