My name is Charles Smith. I was challenged by 40+ years of PTSD long-term addiction recovery, five years of homelessness, and severely dark depression. I developed these techniques to cope with my issues and to find new hope. I became a peer support specialist and hold a certification and an associate degree in human services. I have also worked as a director of a nonprofit, to support families of veterans like myself who suffered from PTSD trauma and mental health conditions, not to mention run countless programs on a variety of supportive subjects. Mostly I use my lifelong experiences to show people that recovery is real and happening now!
Throughout all of these experiences, I developed time-tested long term solutions. I have now put it into my life long experience book series. This knowledge has helped veterans, parents, children, teachers, students, and many others. In our modern world, PTSD and related mental health conditions can strike any person in any stage of life.
