このコンテンツについて
Progressive muscle relaxation according to Jacobson: Enjoy this recognized deep relaxation method without music, only with a calm, guiding voice and gentle nature sounds in the background.
Progressive muscle relaxation, also known as progressive muscle relaxation or PMR for short, is a relaxation method in which a deep state of relaxation of the whole body and mind is achieved through the alternation of deliberate and conscious tension and relaxation of various muscle groups.
PMR is a highly effective method that has been proven in clinical studies and can be used for physical and mental restlessness and agitation, stress, palpitations, sweating, trembling, headaches, arterial hypertension (high blood pressure), muscle tension, postural problems, back pain, gastrointestinal disorders and sleep disorders.
PMR is also often used as an adjunct in behavioral therapy for anxiety disorders.
With this progressive exercise for the whole body, you can deeply relax your body and mind. The tensing phase of the corresponding muscle groups lasts 5 to 10 seconds, the relaxation phase approx. 45 seconds. In this steady rhythm, the gentle sounds of nature (either the sound of the sea or the natural sounds of a summer meadow) gradually bring you to a pleasant state of inner peace.
