We all have those days, weeks, months, and years when we need to hear or read simple but powerful words to help us through a challenging time. We could use special words or quotes to help us feel better, have more courage, and feel empowered. I created Random Feel Good Comments and Quotes when I was 21-years-old. It was the time in my life when I began to understand that people do not always have me at their best interest.
I created this book originally by choosing quotes, comments, and words of wisdom that I read that made me feel better and stronger at given moments. I included special encouraging and positive words people said to me. I needed such a keep sake to listen to as I was trying to understand and process through learning that there are people who carry jealousy, steal other's thunder, and try to dim other people's inner light. I did not have encouragement and support to deal with these “life” experiences growing up. In times of dealing with jealousy, haters, unkindness, feeling powerless, feeling hopeless, feeling alone, feeling overwhelmed, and more, I knew I had to learn the skill of having a positive mindset about myself and my goals. I had to become my own cheerleader.
I realized when I felt jealous or envious of someone else that it mixed up my self-esteem. It confused my “inner knowing” of what life goals I could achieve. I decided at this early age that I did not want to go through life feeling like I was un-worthy, or that I was less of a person then someone else.
The random encouraging quotes and wisdom comments I share in this book helped me to be okay with being me and to trust my inner wisdom, intuition, and dreams. They helped me be happy to be me and take risks to help reach the goals and dreams I had.
I told myself that one day, I will put this all into a book and publish it. I hope this book helps anyone who needs a boost in their mind and heart to feel better about themselves and their hopes and dreams.
