The relaxation and meditation practices in this audiobook are designed to help teenagers meet the challenges of our competitive, high speed, highly technical world. When used regularly they will improve concentration, enhance creativity and, above all, deepen self-awareness and self-esteem. And they are very enjoyable to do.
There are five practices in the audiobook. The first is a short deep breathing practice which improves natural breathing and is a very efficient relaxing and energising tonic for body and mind. The second is a deep whole body relaxation. The third is an easy sequence of yoga-style stretches designed to bring physical relief from sedentary desk work.
The last two practices are sitting meditations that improve posture and enhance concentration skills. With the help of sound vibrations and light visualisations they also give the teenager a taste of inner meditative stillness that is profoundly rejuvenating and transforming.
