このコンテンツについて
Jesuit Father William Sneck is an expert on the human struggle with shame, guilt, and anger. 1. Shame is feeling worthless, rejected and unloved. 2. Guilt believes that one has done something irreversibly bad. 3. Anger, as a result of these struggles, can generally be one of the most destructive emotions of the human spirit. Fr. Sneck has been conducting weekend workshops and retreats concerning the emotions of guilt, shame and anger. He explains them as "hard" emotions; difficult to understand, difficult to work with and painful to express. Through this theoretical presentation, Fr. Sneck enables listeners to explore the psycho-spiritual approach to shame, anger, and guilt. He is also interested in the integration of psychology and spirituality as represented by the work of Carl Jung, especially in dealing with all the human emotions of hurt, anger, guilt, shame, fear, depression, grief and forgiveness. The ultimate thrust of this audio series is to empower one, so as to heal those particular emotions and their effects, and to deal with them in a more creative fashion in ones future living. Fr. Sneck has a PhD in psychology and a teacher of psychology at Loyola University in MD.
