あらすじ・解説
At last, Juliette is able to join Senator Mike McBride in their new Arlington, VA apartment. After time off for a joyous homecoming, Mike goes to work in his Senate office while Juli unpacks and takes the train downtown for lunch with an old friend, Fran Whittaker, who tells Juli of her suspicions. Soon this dangerous knowledge leads to Fran's disappearance and Juliette's investigative reporter's nose getting her in a whole lot of trouble. Juli begins writing an explosive series of exposes under the alias "Julius Carulli". Her nose for news has her poking said nose into a dangerous crime syndicate that does not tolerate 'nosey females' and "leaks" of any kind. Mike and Lady Dog do their best to rescue Juli from her ill timed snooping into a world of kidnapping, murder and smuggling.
