あらすじ・解説

After renouncing his savage life in the jungle for the sake of his wife Jane and newborn son, Tarzan finds his trust in civilization has again been betrayed. Tarzan, now the rich Lord Greystoke, becomes the target of sinister criminals. When he and Jane try to save their abducted son, Jane is kidnapped and Tarzan is stranded on a deserted island. Sheeta the panther, Akut the great ape, and the giant Mugambi remain steadfast allies in Tarzan's quest to save his family...if they are still alive!

Shelly Frasier speaks with sharp consonants and a pleasant maternal tone as she narrates this episode from the famous Tarzan series. This story picks up in the middle of Tarzan's life. Old foe Nicholas Rockov forces him to leave his comfortable life as Lord Graystoke and return to the jungle. Children will adore Frasier's ability to mesmerize them with the adventures of the venerable hero they have loved for generations. Unfortunately, the audiobook contains extraneous sounds and editing problems, which could disturb the concentration of adult listeners.
