このコンテンツについて
This is part of a Self-Training Course. This is the "Prep For the Exercises" -Only- for the full course. Training yourself is not normal for most adults. This is the prep or guidance only on how to set up, train and do the exercises of the course to be able to understand written material at 2,000 words per minute. This is guidance on how to train yourself to learn to visually read.
Most people verbally read, ... silently to themselves at 200 to 300 words per minute. This silent verbal reading is called sub-vocalization. If you are a normal reader or read at 200 to 300 words per minute, you verbally read to yourself (talk to yourself silently in your mind). It is well known that if you stop subvocalizing, you can increase your reading speed. Most people have no clue how to do that.
This course trains a person to go ... directly ... from seeing the written code .... to understanding it. You might call this visual reading. We eliminate the subvocalizing steps and go straight to understanding. It is really a whole new way of understanding written code or text. I call visual reading "Vicoding" ("vi" from visual and "code" from code or written text) to distinguish it from normal reading or verbal reading.
This is NOT what most call speed reading. Most speed reading is just a person trying to talk faster to themselves (run the verbal at 2x). No, by visually looking at text, a lot of things change. You can see whole sentences at a time and understand them in a flash. That is just the beginning. Soon, you see two and three sentences at the same time and are instantly putting together their meaning. There is a lot more, .... but for now, ... I hope you see Vicoding or visually reading is much faster. If you would like to understand the written word more quickly, .... get this book and train yourself.
