This book was chosen for a book club I’m a part of. I’m so glad that it was. I loved it! The story within a story being told from two different perspectives was really interesting. The overall story was also great. I was also glad that I was able to understand and appreciate this story without reading the first in the series. I think the author did a fabulous job of establishing the world building without any info dumping. The narration was fabulous. Very soothing voice and I really appreciated the subtle yet distinctive voices for the different characters. I highly recommend this!
