A quick introduction to what this is and why Josh and Nick are spending a lot of time going song by song through Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson to discuss being a teenager in the 90s, being raised in the South, and being a full-throat supporter of a man who was revealed to be a monster (but in violently more human ways than the picketers had assumed).
Josh and Nick were best friends in high school and helped each other through the difficult times as sensitive boys amidst chaos. They were also big fans of dark and loud music, including albums created by people who were monsters in real life. Nick now lives in California, Josh in Georgia, but they reconnected recently to talk about what the heck they were thinking 25 years ago and how it shaped them. This is not nostalgia.
