LGBTQ health discrimination is a serious topic that needs to be addressed in our society. Every human being has the right and privilege to have better health assistance. Martha De la Paz is a trans woman and an LGBTQ rights and health advocate. She is helping on educating people about sexual orientation and gender identity.
In today’s episode, Martha shares her story of coming out and acceptance as a trans woman living in a predominantly Catholic society, the Philippines. She talks about how she met a group of people called Dollhouse that educates her about trans gender. Martha also speaks about LGBTQ health rights and gives her message to the parent and children who are struggling with acceptance.
