Four bodies in two barrels were found 15 years apart in Bear Brook State Park in New Hampshire. This 35-year-old case is only partly solved, but what is solved is because of Forensic Genealogy.
This month we’re looking into the incredible story of the Bear Brook Murders and their investigation, how forensic genealogy was first used as a crime-fighting tool, and some of the potential risks and dangers of this shiny new technology, which is perhaps one of the biggest developments in forensic science since the development of DNA profiling.
