In this Inspirational People interview on the Share Life podcast, I'm speaking with my new friend, writer, director, and storyteller, Salvatore DiSalvatore. Salvatore DiSalvatore, whom I know as Jack, is also a Communications team leader for a parish in Georgia.

Jack and I met at Learnwell Collective's story lab when I filmed the unboxing of my book, From the Garden to the Cross. If you watch the video, Jack generously prayed over me. This providential encounter was facilitated by our mutual friend, Todd Miechiels of The 315 Project.

In this conversation, I tease out and explore Jack's faith story, and how narrative and writing are woven throughout his life. Jack discusses the concept of "confident vulnerability"—being authentic and open, even at the risk of criticism—as a way to deepen self-understanding. This is contrasted with the dangers of "pandering," especially within certain cultural contexts, which can lead to losing one's sense of self. Discover the importance of embracing your narrative and living sincerely.
