    ABOUT OUR GUEST
Juliana Massey is a marriage and family therapist with a deep passion for helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges. After earning her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University in Georgia, she gained invaluable experience working in a mental health hospital during the pandemic and with low-income and houseless clients in an outpatient community mental health organization. These experiences shaped her understanding of human resilience. In August 2022, Juliana moved to Utah, where she now specializes in working with couples, the LGBTQ+ community, and issues related to life changes, stress, anxiety, and self-esteem. As a non-pathologizing therapist, Juliana believes that people are not defined by their problems but are doing their best within the context of their history and circumstances. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, rooted in Family Systems Therapy and Narrative Therapy, while also drawing from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. Outside of therapy, Juliana enjoys baking, exploring used bookstores, traveling, drinking boba tea, and taking long walks with her dog, Dolly.
