187. Feeling Unworthy of Love While Battling Depression, Anxiety, and Suicidal Thoughts with Sherrell Richmond

  • サマリー

  • 🚨🚨Trigger Warning🚨🚨 Today we are talking about the sensitive topic of suicide. September was suicide prevention month. And as a mental health professional, I think it’s important to highlight the topic. So if hearing about suicide triggers you in any way, please do not listen to this episode. If you or someone you know struggle with suicidal thoughts and need help, call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988. We have a special guest with us today, Sherrell Richmond. Sherell is getting super vulnerable with us—sharing about heartbreak, the struggles of being single with depression and anxiety, and even her struggles with suicide. God preserved her life for purpose, and she’s telling all today. Do not miss this episode! Sherrell’s bio My name is Sherrell Richmond, I am a 32 year old single mother of twin beautiful girls, who are now 13 years old. I am also a Senior Pharmacy Tech, which I've been doing for 11 years. I am the youngest of 3 and my parents have been together for 43 years. In this season of my life, I just got baptized on September 19, 2024, and I will say, that moment felt soooo amazing and it's a moment I will never forget. Right now, not only am I on my spiritual journey, but I'm also just starting to learn Sherrell mentally. I'm in an area in my life where I'm trying to find out who God says I am. I also just became the founder of an organization called ;UST BBOLD and yes! it is spelled just as is, which means "JUST", but, other than that, I am just so happy that I was asked to be a part of your podcast, because I know I still have some healing to do.
