Welcome back to the kitchen table. Helping our children with laundry and getting them dressed is a daily ritual, often filled with the same simple motions—helping them put on new clothes, changing out of the old, and making sure they’re ready for the day. What seems like a small task can actually reveal something powerful about the gospel and how God interacts with us.

Each moment we help our children get dressed can serve as a small reminder of this spiritual renewal. Just as we care for them in practical ways, God cares for us, clothing us in his love and teaching us to walk in his ways.

By finding God in these small, everyday routines, we allow his presence to shape not only our children but our own hearts. Through the simple task of dressing them, we can be reminded of the gospel’s renewing power—making each day a fresh start.
