Why is it that some advice that seems so simple and optimistic can make us feel, well... crappy? It might be Toxic Positivity. Rarely can anything be fixed by "being more positive" and when we come across things like this it can make us feel invalidated, or shameful. Let's talk about how to spot invalidating posts and comments, and what to do for ourselves in those moments.
