  • As you know I talk to medical experts on a regular basis about diet, nutrition and exercise, today I speak with a doctor who is an obesity expert but he's also someone who has had his own obesity problem, having weighed 350lbs at one point.

    He gives me his view on what is driving obesity today and how metabolic disease is being made worse by the official guidelines that are being laid out by bodies like the CDC, which Dr Tro believes do not follow the actual science.

    Adhering to the scientific research on nutrition, metbolism and weightloss saw Dr Tro lose over 150 lbs and keep it off, his mission now is to spread the word about how to achieve a healthy weight.. and newsflash .. it doesnt involve counting calories.

    We talk about the macronutrient breakdown that promotes weightloss, we explore the flaw in the calories in calories out model of weightloss.
