  •  Hey, this is Nurse Lilly. I'm a pediatric nurse with lots of tips. Here's one that's a doozy. Lots of parents are so frustrated when they get prescribed a medicine for their kid for something like an ear infection, and their kid just won't take the medicine. Well, it's not foolproof, but here's a couple of my tricks.

    Two of them in particular. One is act like it's yummy. We called it yum, yum in my house for a very long time and just convince them that it was yummy and that it's supposed to taste. Cuz it's kind of like when they fall over and you say you're fine. And they're like, Yeah, I am. Fine. Same thing. Act like it's yummy.

    Number two, have a lollipop that they like ready. Soon as they get to drink that medicine, they can have their lollipop and it tastes good. So those are two of my tricks. Call it yummy. Give them something that is yummy. See if it works.
