(#58) What You Focus On Will Grow

    From a neuroscience/psychology perspective this is why what you are focusing on will grow:

    1. Neurons that fire together wire together. The more that certain thoughts are happening the more they are wiring together which makes them happen quicker, easier, more automatically. It's like going to the gym and working a muscle, the mind strengths with what you are thinking about. 

    2. RAS, Reticular Activating System, is your brains filter. It deletes and distorts information in your surroundings depending on what you deem as important. The more you focus on what you are grateful for the more your brains filter will pick up on things in your life that align with gratitude and show them to you, other wise it will literally ignore them.

    3. We love to be validated, and so do our beliefs. Your brain will seek evidence that what you believe is true.
