In many cases our co-workers and colleagues can make or break the work experience. Which is why building a work community is a must! But finding a work community inside the job isn't always easy or recommended.
Today Allison starts the first of many conversations about finding your professional tribe. In this episode, she talks with her real-life-co-worker friend Nimo about how they became virtual-co-worker-friends, how all Black people are NOT a monolith especially as it applies to religion. Also they tell the story of the time Nimo checked Allison when she used a slur and should've known better. Whew chileee, somebody help!
