In this episode, I sit down with Byron Morrison and Ian Cornele to talk about their work with Rock 10 Studio. It's been about two years since Ian joined forces with Byron, and they’ve been making waves ever since. We dive into their plans to expand their product sales of their rolling papers "Rok10 Rollers" from the studio to local retail stores, aiming for a summer rollout. Ian shares his journey from playing in various bands to becoming a key part of Rock 10, thanks to their mutual friend Eric who played matchmaker. We also discuss the challenges they face competing with larger companies in the live music space and the serious pivots they’re considering to stay ahead. Beyond the business side, we touch on the therapeutic nature of the studio environment. Byron and Ian find solace in their work, using the space as a safe haven for meaningful conversations, including those about mental health. Tune in and enjoy!
