Episode 3 of A Place to Stray.

Captain Horatio Hornblower, of CS Forester's book series, is a character defined by self-criticism: Driven by anxieties that even those closest to him view him only as a failure waiting to happen, and completely unable to accept or believe praise of any kind.

This week, Stephen tries to figure out why this series appeals to him, and logically concludes that it must be the big wooden boats.

Episode 2 of A Place To Stray.

Two days before the first episode goes up, Stephen begins feeling the first signs of a crisis of confidence. He decides to combat this the only way the patriarchy has taught him how: By talking to himself about football for half an hour.

He also takes a brief detour to learn about the etymology of sucking eggs.

Arriving a week later than planned and thus irrevocably messing up the original schedule forever, Stephen grapples with this being his second first episode because the other one he made was really, truly, unbelievably terrible.
