Episode 177: “Working For Me” Feat. LaRon Music & A Special Dove Award Red Carpet Conversation with Tamela Mann
LaRon Music is an Independent Christian Rap Artist hailing from Ohio, who spent his early years in the foster care system before being adopted. Initially, he made a name for himself as a secular artist, collaborating with well-known figures like Wiz Khalifa, Juelz Santana, 50 Cent, Cardi B, Omarion, and many others. His music video gained international exposure on BET Jams, and he conducted interviews with DJ Envy on The Breakfast Club, while major labels sought to sign him. LaRon seemed destined to become the next big superstar in the music industry as both an artist and songwriter. However, everything changed when he chose to turn down lucrative offers, stepping away from fame and a lavish lifestyle to follow Jesus. With his powerful testimony, evolving sound, and divine guidance, the possibilities for LaRon are limitless. He continues to collaborate with major artists, hone his craft, and deepen his faith, positioning himself as a promising breakout Christian artist. With millions of streams already under his belt and an album that reached #2 on the Christian/Gospel iTunes charts, this is just the beginning for LaRon. He is here for the INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC HIGHLIGHT!
POP IN FOR A CANDID CONVERSATION straight from the Dove Award Red Carpet as we speak about Tamela Mann’s new single, “Working For Me”. In our conversation, Tamela speaks of some harsher times that the Lord has indeed worked her through. She declares, “I’m living because I know heaven is my destiny. I’m breathing every breathe with purpose. I’m fighting for the victory”. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to discuss the country's number one song with her and feature it on the show. Enjoy!
