In this edition of Brooke USA On The Road, we'll discuss equine health and wellness. Podcast host Julianne Neal speaks with Brooke USA Board member Lisa Bair, and Prisma Imaging CEO, Michael Silver, about equine care for working horses, donkeys and mules and the funding partnership between Prisma Imaging and Brooke USA. The second half of the episode includes a conversation with Board Member Julia Wilson, DVM, and farrier Jeff Pauley about the lack of farrier and veterinary services in the developing world and the initiatives in place to combat these issues through Brooke USA's funded projects.
Lisa Bair started as an Account Executive for Grey Healthcare Group in NYC and in 2003, she opened her own healthcare advertising agency, The Hobart Group. Competing in equestrian events led her to Wellington, where she incorporated Quantuvis, a Healthcare IT company.

The mission of Brooke USA is to significantly improve the welfare of working horses, donkeys and mules and the people they serve throughout Asia, Africa, the Middle East, the Americas and the Caribbean by raising funds and responsibly directing them to the areas of greatest need. This is accomplished through a holistic approach to funding which includes capacity building, sustainability programming, female empowerment and international advocacy. Brooke USA raises funds to support a wide variety of programs for working horses, donkeys and mules to help them become (and remain) healthy and happy, now and in the long-term, which also benefits the poor families who depend on those animals to help them earn a living.
