In this episode, The Comeback Project creators Rebecca Aparicio and Sammi Cannold sit down with actor and activist André Jordan to discuss Broadway's impending return and André's work to make equitable, safe, anti-racist, and inclusive work spaces in anticipation of that return. Using André's experience as a cast member in Diana the Musical, Rebecca, Sammi, and André discuss what's worked, what hasn't, and how we can learn from each other as we seek to build a better Broadway. More about The Comeback Project: The Comeback Project is a conversation series to help theatermakers restart in the wake of the pandemic. This premiere conversation features international theatermakers from countries in which theaters have partially or fully reopened during the pandemic. By bringing together experts from within the industry and equally, from beyond the industry, The Comeback Project hopes to provide resources and strategies for arts-workers from all corners of the theatrical world planning their return to in-person work.
