Adam DeGroot comes from a family who has been in the farming and produce business for decades. From selling produce at farmers markets in Chicago, the foundation was set for Adam's career in logistics.
As The family business grew, so did their demand for better transportation needs, and from there DeGroot Logistics was formed. To differentiate themselves and try and be more carrier focused they recently acquired Dock411, a platform which rates shippers on how someone's experience is at their location. DeGroot looks to help change issues in the industry like turnover, parking, and detention times with growing the Dock411 system, and is full steam ahead!
