  • We are Ian and Bethany and we're the hosts of the Tactical Adulting Podcast where we talk about the subjects that you’re not taught in school. These things are often forgotten or ignored but are essential to lead a happy and prosperous life as an independent adult. We met in college and after graduation both commissioned as military Officers. Eight years and 3 kids later, Ian's still serving full-time while Bethany works from home and focuses on raising thieir three crazy kids. Many of the topics we talk about revolve around what we’ve learned through our experiences, whether it was planning, trial and error, or sometimes, just plain luck. Join us as we discuss things like budgeting, purchasing and owning a home, to getting married, becoming parents and raising kids. We made this podcast because we’ve noticed that so many of our friends in their late 20s and early 30s are still living at home, drowning in debt or working unfulfilling jobs and are in many ways, are still living like they’re teenagers. You know, people often say that your 20s is for making mistakes, taking risks and going on adventures. We’re here to tell you, yeah, absolutely-do those things! But we want to teach you how to avoid making careless or naive mistakes so that you use your 20s to set the conditions for success in your 30s and the rest of your life. If you want to hear more, subscribe to the show on your podcast platform of choice, and engage with us on social media-check out the show notes for all the details. See you next time!

We want to talk about the subjects that you’re not taught in school. You know, the things that are often forgotten or ignored but are essential to lead a happy and prosperous life as a functioning adult. Our story together began in Athens, OH in 2008. Eight years of marriage and 3 kids later, we've traveled the country and experienced almost all of the highs and lows of being adults. We talk about what we’ve learned through our experiences, whether it was from planning, trial and error, or sometimes, just plain luck. We want to pass on our knowledge to you and help you learn from our mistakes. Thank you so much for checking out our podcast, and hit that subscribe button to listen to all new episodes as they are released. www.talkingllama.com
