あらすじ・解説
The Suitcase and The Scribe are back for another Stanley Cup Final edition of the show as the Colorado Avalanche head into game four tonight with a 2-1 lead over the Tampa Bay Lightning. There's no better person to join the guys on the show today than somebody who sees the final take place down at ice level.
Emily Kaplan from ESPN dropped by to chat with Scott Burnside about what has happened not only in the Stanley Cup Final but also throughout the playoffs. She discussed how she became an on-camera person at ESPN, her relationship with coaches around the NHL, and also her parting words to players in interviews.
Before the interview, Mike McKenna and Scott Burnside broke down last night's NHL Awards. There were not many surprises, but some hockey fans were unhappy about Auston Matthews winning the Hart Trophy over Connor McDavid. Mike and Scott justified the award by explaining why Matthews was a deserving recipient. They also discussed the Vezina Trophy, Norris Trophy and the Ted Lindsay.
They dove into game four of the Stanley Cup Final and answered the lingering question over the Avalanches camp right now: should Darcy Kuemper start game four?
Finally, they talked about the coaching changes around the league, and Mike gave an update on the AHL's Calder Cup Final.
