In this episode, Katie and Tahira speak to Anissa from the British Science Association and Jessica from Royal Museums Greenwich about British Science Week. The British Science Association have teamed up with Royal Museums Greenwich this year to bring this year’s British Science Week’s theme, ‘Time’, to life by inviting primary schools across the UK to join them for a live assembly hosted by their Curator of Time! British Science Week is now in its 30th year and focuses on all things science, technology, engineering and maths In this episode, we talk about:
- How time connects with other areas of science
- How you can get involved with British Science Week
- The live assembly held in collaboration with Royal Museums Greenwich
- The relationship between astronomy and time
- And we create our very own sand timers!
