She is also an associate clinical professor at UCD who subspecialises in inflammatory and allergic conditions of the nose and sinuses. She is Co-Founder and current President of the Irish Rhinologic Society & Prof. Marcus Butler who co-leads the severe asthma clinical service at St. Vincent's University Hospital and has published extensively in the international medical literature. He is an Associate Professor/Consultant Respiratory Physician at University College Dublin and St Vincent’s University Hospital, where he is actively involved in clinical trials of severe asthma treatments. He is the Medical Director/Board Member of the Asthma Society of Ireland, a member of the European Respiratory Society, and the European Academy of Allergy & Clinical Immunology.
