  • Episode 63: 50 Coffee Shops, 50 Weeks, 50 States - Series Recap Episode
    2022/12/30

This is the recap episode for the 50 States, 50 Weeks and 50 Coffee Shop Series. I’m joined by Yemi Sonoiki as he asks me questions about my experience from my virtual travels through all 50 states.

I learned a lot about how podcasting works from the structure of a podcast, asking consistent questions, varying follow-up questions so the interviews are more intriguing, and editing.

From the coffee world, I saw the passion and humility of the coffee shop owners and how we as consumers can help their businesses succeed by buying local or ethically sourced coffee beans.

Overall, I’m honored to get to hear and share all 50 of these stories with you. Thank you for following along on this journey.

If you would like me to email you the full Google Maps saved list of coffee shops these shop owners recommended in all 50 states, email me at baristatalkshow@gmail.com.

Scott Boeckner is the owner of Aspire Coffee Roasters in Greybull, WY. Scott started his coffee journey by roasting coffee beans in a bread maker with a friend. One of the funniest parts Scott shared was how people in his area want coffee to look and taste so strong that “a horseshoe can float”. Follow along for Scott’s new adventure as he moves the roasting side of his business to Colorado.

Looking for other shops to visit around Wyoming? These are the shops recommended by Scott:

Beatific Coffee Roasters in Lovell, WY
